Adeem Ali Anwar holds a PhD in Computer Science from the School of Computing at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. He completed a Master's of Science in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Pakistan, and a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from the Punjab University College of Information Technology, Pakistan.
Currently serving as a higher education lecturer in Information Technology at Kent Institute, Sydney, Australia, since July 2024, he brings a wealth of teaching experience. Previously, he served as a casual teaching position at Macquarie University College, delivering diploma courses and as a casual teaching assistant at the School of Computing at Macquarie University. His academic career began in Pakistan, where he spent 3.5 years as a lecturer at The University of Lahore and taught in other institutions as both a lecturer and visiting lecturer. With a teaching journey that spans since 2018, he has built strong capabilities in developing and delivering engaging course content and managing diverse classrooms.
His research focuses on Evolutionary Algorithms, Hyper-heuristics, Combinatorial Optimization, Search Heuristics, Multi- and Many-Objective Algorithms, Reinforcement Learning, and Machine Learning. His research outputs include high-quality publications, and he has supervised numerous undergraduate final-year projects, enhancing his academic mentorship skills.
Adeem has contributed to the academic community through roles as a reviewer and organizing committee member for several high-impact conferences and journals. Currently, he is serving as the web chair for ADMA 2024. Beyond academic teaching and research, he has taken on leadership roles in organizing events, project exhibitions, and conferences, further sharpening his organizational and communication skills.
His commitment to fostering innovation and excellence is evident in both his academic and professional endeavors, and he remains dedicated to driving impactful contributions in his field.
